International Workshop on Very Large Data Warehouses
VLDWH Workshop 2002
In Conjunction with DEXA 2002
Aix-en-Provence, France
September 2 - 3, 2002
Technical Program
The objective of the International Workshop on Very Large Data Warehouses is to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss research issues and experience in developing and deploying large databases for the purpose of data warehousing and knowledge discovery systems, applications, and experiences with such systems.
We are looking forward to the keynote presentation on trends in data warehouse development and deployment by Stephen Brobst (Chief Technology Officer of the Teradata Division of NCR). He performed his graduate work in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his Masters and PhD research focused on high-performance parallel processing. His specialization is in the design and construction of very large data warehouse solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the United States and internationally.
