Accommodation

We have selected a number of two- to four-star hotels from which the conference venue can be reached within 15 minutes. The hotels are very well equipped and range from € 50 to 140 for a single room.

Hotels

1. Best Western Hotel Kaiserhof   (Frankenberggasse 10, 1040 Wien)

The luxurious Kaiserhof hotel is just around the corner from the Vienna University of Technology, and is equipped with sauna, gym and steam bath.

2. Hotel Drei Kronen (Schleifmühlgasse 25, 1040 Wien)

The Drei Kronen is close to the Naschmarkt, and is within walking distance of the conference venue.

3. Hotel Clima City (Theresianumgasse 21a, 1040 Wien)

The Clima Cityhotel is within walking distance (approx. 10 minutes) from the conference venue. It is also close to the beautiful Belvedere castle, a famous tourist attraction.

4. Hotel beim Theresianum (Favoritenstrasse 52, 1040 Wien)

Situated between the famous streets Ringstrasse and Gürtel, the Hotel beim Theresianum is close to the U1 subway station that directly stops at Vienna University of Technology.

5. Hotel Ananas (Rechte Wienzeile 93-95, 1050 Wien)

Next to a subway station that connects to the conference venue, the Hotel Ananas is a typical Viennese hotel.

6. Hotel Falkensteiner Palace (Margaretenstrasse 92, 1050 Wien)

The luxurious Falkensteiner Palace Hotel is 2 minutes from a subway station, and offers a wide varity of wellness and recreational possibilities, and beautifully equipped rooms.

7. Ibis (Schönbrunner Strasse 92, 1050 Wien)

The Ibis Hotel recently opened and is close to Naschmarkt. The conference venue can be reached within 15 minutes by subway.

8. Prinz Eugen (Wiedner Gürtel 14, 1040 Wien)

The Prinz Eugen is close to the famous Belvedere castle and its lovely parks and gardens. It is a modern four-star hotel, which is approximately 15 minutes from the conference venue (by subway).

9. Hotel Academia (Pfeilgasse 3a, 1080 Wien)

Academia, a seasonal hotel during summer time, offers a large number of rooms for very reasonable prices. The conference venue can be reached by public transport within 20 minutes.

10. Hotel Atlas (Lerchenfelderstrasse 1-3, 1070 Wien)

Hotel Atlas offers very reasonably prices rooms and is within walking distance from the subway station U2. The Vienna University of Technology can be reached in 10 minutes. It is also very close to the city center with all of its historical attractions.

Youth Hostels and Dormitories

11. Porzellaneum (Porzellangasse 30, 1090 Wien)

The Porzelleum is a dormitory during university seasons, and rents its rooms as a hotel during holidays. The first two floors are rent as usual hotel rooms, the rooms on the third and fourth floor are let with bedclothes only, and are slightly cheaper. The conference venue can be reached by tramway (line D) within 20 minutes.
