Third Workshop on Data Analysis (WDA2002)

June 14 - 16 2002
Kosice, Slovak Republic

Overview

Summary

As in the preceeding years, the seminar organized as the 3rd Workshop on Data Analysis (WDA 2002), which this year was co-located with the 2nd Euro-International Symposium on Computational Intelligence, turned out a huge success for all participants.

The program featured an invited talk by Henri Avancini, followed by the participants' presentations on the first day. The second day was devoted to intensive discussions and exchange of ideas (as were basically all the evenings), rounded off by a trip to the wonderful city of Kosice and its surrounding hills in the afternoon. The Workshop was formally closed with a great dinner in downtown Kosice. Some of the Workshop participants decided to stay both for a great trip to the High Tatras on Sunday, as well as for the subsequent Conference.

Below the final program some images documenting this great event are provided. I am sure all participants enjoyed this event and, apart from having lots of fun, also learned a lot and came back with lots of fascinating new ideas.
